Biodiversity is about you and me and the vast variety of different plants, animals, and other living organisms around us all. We are all interdependent on each other to maintain health and the well-being of our ecosystems.

At the Montreal COP 15 Conference in December 2022 a new initiative has been agreed on a global scale to make clear targets to deal with the processes and threats that are destroying the living world around us. For once, these initiatives also safeguards the rights of indigenous peoples and recognize their contributions as stewards of nature.

GDA therefore joins in the mission of raising awareness about the importance of biodiversity and the threats it faces can help encourage others to take action to protect it. The GDA BIOVIVERSITY Award is created to share information about biodiversity with ngo's, city authories, friends, family, and others in your community. we have all learned from the pandemic, that although a crisis is global, we can all make a difference as individuals.

If you are active in participating or promoting biodiversity or have a project that is relevant then don't hesitate in sharing it with us and the GDA world. The project can be a corner of your world, plants, wildlife, waterways, whatever. Bring your ideas and your strengths to the attention of others. Your encourgement and intiatives can help others do the same.

By taking these steps, we can help promote biodiversity and protect the rich variety of life on Earth. Regenerate response.
