Deadwood Corridors demonstrates how overlooked infrastructure landscapes can be transformed into active ecological systems. By reintroducing decaying timber as a habitat-forming material, the project establishes continuous micro-ecosystems that support insects, ground-nesting birds, and small mammals. It is a compelling example of low-tech, high-impact design that restores biodiversity through processes rather than objects.
